Feeling the need for speed with these new electric superminis? Not me! 7-second 0-60 times are fun, but who needs that for city errands? Bring back the cheap, slow runabouts! Give us a long-range, lower-powered option for budget-minded drivers and young folks stuck with high insurance. 15 seconds to 60 is plenty fast, and heck, that might even be quicker than the original Renault 5! An affordable, slow and steady EV supermini – now that's what I call progress. Renault, you were once the king of affordable fun, where's the electric equivalent we can all afford?
 
A larger battery can contribute to better acceleration. This is because a bigger battery can deliver more amps, which translates to more power for the electric motor. However, some might limit the power output electronically for various reasons, like prioritizing efficiency or keeping costs down.
 
Renault have been trying to branch out and produce vehicles that could rival other supercars. There are other options that Renault offered that still has the affordable yet good battery capacity that everyone wants
