Renault has made a bunch of really fancy cars, and their mechanics are pretty straightforward to work on, like a lot of French cars. Plus, spare parts aren't crazy expensive either. The Renault 5 was iconic, and I bet this new model will be a hit in France. French cars are just so much fun to drive. The cool thing about France is that French people really back their own products, and honestly, they're onto something! Renault sells cars all over the world, just not in the US. Who wouldn't want one? Maybe Nissan will bring it over here, like a modern Le Car!

Back then, I agree, Renault is one heck of a car, but today, I feel like their build quality may not be quite what it once was.

Renault’s history with iconic, simple cars is impressive, but I wonder how the new R5 will stack up against modern EVs in terms of practicality and cost. They definitely have the style and charm down, but let’s hope the new model lives up to its legacy without cutting corners. And yes, bringing it to the US would be such a smart move, fingers crossed!
