I'm loving that Pop Yellow vibe and the slick look of the Renault 5. The specs are promising, no doubt. But here's my thing: I'm not fully sold on going all-electric just yet. They really should throw in a hybrid option for us non-city dwellers where range and charging are still big issues. Still, gotta hand it to Renault—this is the first affordable EV that actually looks like a blast to drive. What do you all reckon?
 
I agree with you but it's more practical to have an ICE car as a backup. Renault's design is definitely intriguing. It feels like they understand what many EV buyers want: small, lightweight, efficient at a reasonable price. This could be a great addition to the EV market.
